The Te Awamutu RSA Women’s Section Members meet on the second Thursday of each month at the club at 1.00pm. A coffee morning is held on the first Thursday of each month at 10.00am giving members a chance to catch up, have a chat and socialise. We enjoy guest speakers, entertainment, raffles, summer bus trips etc and often join in with the Workingmen’s Club Friendship Group to share travel costs on bus trips.
One of the busiest times in the Women’s Section calendar is around ANZAC Day when members organise rosters for poppy selling throughout the town, pin the poppies and provide lunch for those involved on the day.
The Women’s Section is available on request for catering for the funerals of members held at the RSA.

The Racing Club is a lot fun. It costs nothing to join and thanks to subsidies from selling raffles at the Club, we cover race meetings locally and further afield, catch a bus and have a fun day at the races.
We sponsor one of the races on the day, enjoy a meal at the venue, place our bets and have team picks in all races. It’s always a great fun day, so come along and join us.
In club fun “Punters Days” are also organised from time to time
During the year there are combined sport events and championships for all interested members.
Come along and enjoy these competitions:
