Support Services
To ensure New Zealand’s servicemen and women continue to live with dignity and respect the NZ RSA provides welfare and support services. We also support their spouses and dependent children.
The Club “Support Services” are available to all members and are managed by our Support Adviser.
Our Support Adviser has a wide knowledge regarding assistance available in the community.
We are always ready to listen to your concerns with empathy and confidentiality.
We provide a wide range of assistance to all members of our club including:
- War Pensions advice and assistance
- Advice on other pensions and community services
- Assistance with application forms
- Financial assistance (Conditions apply)
- Mobility equipment
- Rest Home and Hospital visits
- Health advice
- Residential care advice
- Bereavement support
The RSA Club supports the Te Awamutu Community Health Transport Trust which provides transport to hospital and specialist appointments in Hamilton and Te Kuiti.
This service is available to Club Members at no cost.
